Our Story

Poppy and Co., formerly known as Blush and Gloss Boutique, was founded in March 2020 by Jaime Moses. What started in my 240' she shed has now grown into a second location for shooting content and filming video. It's absolutely crazy what all can happen in a year!

Especially the very year we were hit with a pandemic!

Blush and Gloss started as a Tween boutique. Through many arguments about what I considered age appropriate clothing, verse what AC considered "cool", I set out to create a brand that both mommas and tween girls would love. Fun fact: That's kinda how we came up with the name, too. AC wanted to wear makeup and I said nope. We compromised on blush, lip gloss, and clear mascara. Then voila, we had a name. 

In August, gears shifted a little bit. I noticed an influx of women's sizes being requested and a huge decline in tween sizing being purchased or inquired about. Gods timing is never wrong, and in September I was asked if I'd like to sell my tween side of the business. I made the decision to do so and the rest just kind of fell into place. 

In January 2022, we knew that a change and refresh were needed. With branching out into additional sizing and styles, we brought on four new stylists to help round out our new vision. It was important to us that we created something that really spoke to women and made them feel more like family rather than a sale. With a more personal approach, we wanted a more personal name. 

Poppy and co. is named after Jaime's grandfather, Poppy. 

The words of thankfulness often fall short, and this is no exception. I'll forever be grateful to my amazing customers who have supported me, encouraged me, and laughed with me along the way.
